Empowering Teen Mothers in Ngoma: A New Chapter of Opportunity through TAMU Pads
The Edward Musonera Foundation (EMF) and Inovos Ltd have officially launched a collaborative job creation initiative in the Kibungo Sector of Ngoma District. This partnership targets 50 teen mothers in its initial phase, equipping them with the skills to become community-based sales agents for locally manufactured TAMU sanitary pads. By combining professional entrepreneurship mentoring with essential Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) education, the initiative provides a sustainable pathway out of poverty. "We don't just create sanitary pads, we engineer confidence," remains the guiding vision as these young women take the lead in distributing high-quality menstrual hygiene products within their own communities.
